How to Play
Using a rounded ball, soccer is a game played by two teams with different coloured shirts. There are 10 players on a team and one goalie. The aim is to get the ball in the goal the other team is defending.

The game of soccer is very fun. I highly recommend you try it!

The History Of Soccer
Evidence has been recovered that shows soccer was invnted by the Chinese Military and used as a skill building exercise. The Greeks and ancient Romans also played a soccer like game in which teams could consist of up to 27 players.

There is a story which places the first soccer game in the East of England where the locals played a game that resembled soccer. The 'ball' they used was the severed head of a Danish Prince they had defeated in battle.

In medieval times townsfolk played against rival towns and villages, although in these times punching, biting and gouging etc. were allowed. Hundreds of people took part in games that could last all day. The matches became so violent that there were many attempts by authorities to ban these 'soccer' games.
